Rustic River Winery and Vineyard

We had the pleasure of working with Rustic River Winery and Vineyard and want to extend a big thank-you to their amazing team for collaborating with SDM. The venue is absolutely beautiful—perfect for weddings and special events. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the grounds are stunning, and the staff is nothing short of wonderful. We highly recommend Rustic River for anyone looking for a scenic and memorable location. We truly hope to be back again soon!

My husband & I love this winery! We live in San Diego now, but I grew up in Sac City & we are so fortunate to visit this gem every time we are back visiting my family. Our most recent visit was the first week of December 2024. No matter the time of year, it is so nicely decorated & we are always greeted with warm smiles. The wine is absolutely delicious! Our favorite is Happy Harvest, but the slushies in summer are also to die for! It is truly the perfect place to relax & unwind or celebrate with family or friends. Cheers!

My trip to Iowa to see my brother Alan was a great trip, we visited this Winery and oh my goodness. The Wine is fantastic and Masha you made us feel so welcome and helped us with our selection. Got a tour of the barn, the history of the renovation which my brother and I love to hear. We will be back and probably bring friends. Thanks again Marsh!!!🥰

This was the perfect stop for our Girls Weekend! The winery owners opened just for us by appointment and had prepared a beautiful tasting. They were so accommodating and we're so excited to serve their wines in our local shop. Highly recommend their wide variety, including fruit wines and aronia berry.

Just passing through the Lake View area, but found the Windmill Whisper one I wish I could carry a case home for women friends who like sweet....but not too sweet...white wines. Delightful.

My husband's 50th Class Reunion was held here. Very clean. Great atmosphere in the country. The restored barn was fun for this farm girl to reminisce of her growing up years. Great friendly hosts.

All the wines have a different taste, which I love the diversity esp for a local small family own business. I am always impressed with the wine, venue, and owners. 10/10

My son and daughter planned a surprise birthday party for me at the Rustic Rivery Winery and they were most accomodating and helpful. As my son said, "They are the most chill people on the planet!" And I agree! The venue and surrounding countryside are beautiful, the additional room off the main space was perfect for setting up a dessert table, the wine was fantastic, and the option to purchase beverages other than wine was a plus. Best birthday ever!
