Out in the countryside, but worth the drive. My group planned on going to this winery as a destination and it made for a relaxing afternoon.
Road to the winery was a mix of paved and gravel roads. Staff was very friendly and helpful. When we visited, samples of the wine were free to find what you liked, and then you purchase by the bottle. Our group brought snacks to munch on, which was fine and there were fun trivia, conversation starter games at each table.
Great tasting wine with a lovely atmosphere.
Absolutely loved this little off the road winery!! Great view from there deck to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine. We had two while we played games and did some bird watching! Highly recommend
Karen and Bryan have created the most charming, quaint, and beautiful little winery! We stumbled across their place while on a weekend getaway - one made more special by Karen’s warm, welcoming demeanor and wonderful conversation as she hosted a delicious wine tasting. Her knowledge of not only the wine they make, but also the history of the area and sunny disposition made our winery visit one for the books. Karen is an absolute gem, and the winery her and Bryan have created is simply delightful. Thank you for making our visit so memorable, Karen! We hope to be back, especially to re-stock on our sparkling Perry! :)
We had a wonderful time here. Right away when we walked in, we were offered a tasting with water and oyster crackers to use as palate cleansers in-between. We found multiple wines that we enjoyed and bought a few to drink out on the beautiful patio. One of the best winery experiences I’ve ever had!
Fantastic scenery and delicious wine. 5 stars
Nice stop after a hike at Yellow River State Forest Painted Rock Unit.
I wanted to take my grandmother on a nice utv ride up to the winery, but after checking their website, I guess that's not an option.
Wonderful friendly owners, Great wines, and awesome views from the new deck!
It's hard to beat a charming winery on a gravel back road.Four out of the five people in our tasting group agreed that the grape expectations was the best wine we've ever had.
I can’t say enough about this winery! They are by far the most amazing and friendly couple I have ever met. I will definitely be stopping every time I am going near lansing. Free wine tasting of all of their wines (which I couldn’t decide what one to buy because they all were delicious!) we talked about where we were from and what air b&b we were staying in for our anniversary. Also my husband is a rock hound so of course that came up with some of the fossils they had around the winery. My husband even gave them some agates he found to add to their collection. Hours later after leaving the winery and was back at the air b&b I was in the kitchen and looked out the window and seen a package on the car. Super confused went out to the car to find a note that said happy anniversary and inside was a bottle of wine and some fossils. ❤️ We can’t thank them enough for the love they have shown us.

The hospitality of the owners was over the top. It was one of best wineries we have visited. While a little out of the way it is well worth the visit.
a quaint little winery with delicious tasting wine and great owners. a must visit!
A gem in the Driftless Region. Beautiful grounds, cozy/ very pretty tasting room, award winning wines... It was nice to meet you, Karen. Cheers until next time! 🙂
This place is fabulous, from the lush grounds to the wide variety of flowers, bushes and grasses, to the outdoor patio area, to the tasting room and Karen's knowledgeable commentary about the wine selection, to to to ... it was all relaxing and great. We will be back; thank you Brian and Karen!
