If looking for a tavern that the locals love, this is it. Lots of friendly regulars, good bartenders, cold drinks and comfortable atmosphere. We have gone back every time in Lansing. No outside sitting at this bar.

Workin night shift, came in to eat, pizza wasn't bad
Myself and six friends swung by this place for dinner during a five day stay in this quaint town on the Mississippi River. We’ve come to this town s few times because the roads lining the river are phenomenal for motorcycling. Our waitress is super friendly and repeatedly and patiently explained what their best dishes were and she highly recommended the nightly special which was two pieces of chicken and two pieces of deep fried battered cod. She was correct the fish was awesome. Even the coleslaw is excellent along with the homemade American potatoes. The only downside of this place is he don’t take credit cards or debit cards, but The attached buyer does have an ATM. So if you find yourself cruising the upper Mississippi river valley and you’re hungry and you’re in the area I highly recommend this place

We have been coming to Lansing for years but never stopped at the Other place mostly because we had teenagers with us. Last night I told my hubby we should check it out. They were following the social distancing and cleaning policies. The bar staff made for a very fun atmosphere. Loved they were collecting donations for Cedar Rapids for Iowa’s huge August storm. Definitely will be back!
