We fell in love with Red Barn Campground three years ago when we came up to stay while running the Driftless 5K. We have been back every year since then. The sites are clean and right on a trout stream. The bar has great food and cold drinks and the owners are so nice and make you feel so welcome. Same goes for the hard working staff. They were hopping on a Friday night game night. The bartenders cranked out the drinks and the two cooks in the back worked their butts off cranking out the food as well. We enjoy coming up to the bar to watch the Hawkeye games as usually the crowd gets into it and it's just a fun time. I would highly recommend Red Barn Campground!

The food was very good. Real nice campground that is well kept. The camper we rented was like new and very clean. We definitely will go back.

Slowest place on earth. An hour to get a $6 piece of overcooked hash or an omelette. I swear the cook makes one order at a time. We started eating popcorn, we waited so long for our breakfast. Dinner isn't any better. 45 minutes for a calzone. And why does a calzone cost a dollar more than a pizza? They are the same thing???
