This is a dive bar. Food was overpriced and not good. Service was your typical heavy smoker retirement age bartender who is too tired to smile.We were in from out of town and enjoyed playing pool. Table is fully functional.

We were laid over in Le Mars, IA. One of the Love's employees took his lunch and drove us over to Baacker's bar so we could get out if the truck got a bit. We can't move the semi, so this was amazing. The people here are more than amazing, and the food is delicious. We stayed for the Chief's game, and one of the bartenders had on a Vikings shirt, who the Chiefs happened to be playing. It was a truly great time. As an out-of-towner lots of small town bars make you feel like an out-of-towner. Not Baackers!! Kendal and the rest of the bar were nothing but friendly and welcoming. Updated! Great atmosphere! Music was awesome! I would definitely come back!!
