I come here a few times a year as a Semi truck driver to pickup a load of Ice cream to haul around the country. Usually my load is preloaded on one of my companies staged trailers, I check in drop off an empty trailer back up to a new one, and check out and go. The whole process takes less than 30 minutes. They give my dog a biscuit and usually give me an ice cream treat or two on the way out. My Pug knows and gets so excited. They're professional and efficient and I look forward to my work related visits there.
We were a little apprehensive for our first experience here due to all the bad reviews. However, our experience was much better than expected.
It’s a large facility with different receiving areas (Reefer, tanker…). We called and spoke with Charity in Shipping who was very kind and patient in giving us thorough directions to the area and we needed to check in.
We arrived at 0305 for an 0400 appointment on a Saturday morning. Laura, at the guard shack, was very professional and informative.
We were given a door and were docked by 0334. Had to bobtail to row one and wait for three hours for the load to be done. One suggestion is that they should take Driver‘s phone numbers and call when the load is ready instead of giving an approximate timeframe for the load to be done and the drivers have to keep calling to see if their load is ready. Our load was ready at 0705 and the yard dog parked it in row 2 for us to pick up. Scaling is not optional as you must drive over scale in order to leave through the guard gate.
The gentleman checking us out at the guard gate was a little harsh and crusty, but it was only 9° with the windchill in the negatives, so we understand that and gave him a break.
We left with paperwork in hand at 0743.
Overall good experience and we wouldn’t mind returning.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but today, I unloaded cream here in a tanker. I asked for the restroom after waiting 3.5 hours to get in the bay. I was told I'd have to go "outside somewhere around the building walk very far somewhere there should be restrooms outside." I make an effort to use the restrooms before delivering anywhere to not bother the plants I deliver to, but I am sure this is a violation of HR3869 and, to some degree, the ADA law. I try never to make a ruckus of anything, but today, just felt like wow...so please communicate with me if I am wrong, Wells Enterprises, but next time, have a plan to at least point drivers to the nearest bathroom, just as a minimum courtesy. Thank you.
Upon arrival, slide tandems before proceeding to security check-in. Check in with security and drop your trailer on row 7, 8, or 9. Park in bobtail parking on row 1. Note: Once your trailer is loaded, you will not be notified. You must periodically check rows 1 and 2. Loading took over 9 hours. The load update number does not get answered After loading, break the green seal, secure your load, and proceed to checkout at the gate. Utilize the free scale on your way out to verify axle weight. Proceed to the security window for paperwork completion.
I have delivered Cream here on Sunday many times. I really like this place there is a Loves right down the road. The thing I like the most is the guys that unload me they are so nice. On Sunday, there is usually no other trucks there, so get on the scale, pick up the phone, and wait for someone to answer. If you're delivering cream, it is bay 1. It is a straight pull through 90% of the time. Oh and when you pull around to get in the bay make sure you use as much room as you can to get straight before you pull in. You'll most likely need it.
I been for here 40 hrs
Is that even possible
Drop trailer after 3 hours ice cream ready. Means. 3 hours waiting. Jehda nu my mber deange ohde te call karleyo.
Yard dog man need to leave the trailer land gear alone my trailer was so fricking crank up high it was un called for an check out needs to be faster
Very slow, 7 hours here.
Do not expect to be in and out of here. It’s been 5 yes since I was last here and nothing has changed. I’m on the tanker side of things, and it’s just as bad for getting unloaded in a timely manner. Milk product sitting in the blazing Sun doesn’t seem to be a problem…
If you have to use the facilities and you’re a woman driver, good luck!

Easy check in came 2 hours early and they let me through to get loaded. Make sure you get a washout ? they will turn you around. Your going to drop your trailer and go to bobtail lot. They allow you to go into town to handle food or shopping as well. MUCH RESPECT over night parking as well ☝️
