Goggle maps said they were open on Sunday, had friends down from Ames and we drove an extra 20 miles to eat lunch but they were closed. We went across the street to Tiger Pizza and had some great pizza!
BEST Mexican west of the Mississippi. Drove 5 hours down from Minnesota to experience the charming town of Lenox, Iowa. After the decently long drive, we all were ready to eat. El Guero popped up as a suggestion so we got in our car and scurried on in. Walking in, El Guero had an astonishing photo wall with a yellow LED light that shines bright that caught my eye. I have been here twice and had a great experience both times. The food was excellent and service was perfect. I will be visiting again when in the area and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
