My husband and I have stayed Tt the Decker Hotel off and on for ~20 years. It has changed management several times over the course of that span. It seems to have changed again. The building was restored many years ago, but the exterior is now running down pretty badly. The interior actually looked cleaner than the last time we stayed. The bed was comfortable. The TV only had a few channels, and they were random—HGTV, Weather Channel, National Geographic—no network channels...
This is a charming old hotel. You feel like you walked into another time. The rooms were clean. There is no service ices like ice or vending which just kind of added to the charm. We did have a jacuzzi in our room which was nice. And the bar is closed now. But we will definitely stay there again.
We loved staying at The Decker Hotel! The room was so nice, clean and comfortable. There was history everywhere you look. I'm making reservations to stay there again right now. 😁
