Let me start this off by saying I've been wanting to come here forever. I love hole in the wall, townie bars. This was such a disappointment. The food was incredibly overpriced for what you get. The burgers were dry, the buns were cold, and they were steak fries. We spent more for two people to have two burgers and 4 beers (3 of which were on tap) than we do at the nicer restaurants in town. The bar was freezing, the service was mediocre. My husband got sick as soon as we got home. Won't be back.

I went into the bar and got IDed. This is acceptable. I showed them my temporary id as mine was ordered and they refused to accept it. The bartender seemed to be way too prideful despite the lack of knowledge surrounding their job. Iowa law states that an acceptable form of id for purchasing alcohol has to have a photo with your date of birth. Imagine being a bartender that doesn’t know the laws of their own state. Pathetic…

Todd is one of the best bartenders in town, he treats you like family. Your drink is never empty. Food is amazing Royce is amazing cook. If you are looking for a small town bar with great food and atmosphere and pool this is the best place in Marion!

Food had good flavor. Just had to wait an hour for a burger and wrap. Was told there was a shift change and order was missed. Apparently the next shift didn't really want to make it either. As it was 30 minutes past the top of the hour before we got our food.
