Golden Palace Chinese Buffet

They have a large variety of food on their buffet. I would say it’s a little better than the standard as far as flavor and freshness of the food on the buffet goes. Good spacing available between food bars and tables. My grandfather was able to ride his scooter through the restaurant without trouble. The place was clean and staff were friendly. Did not feel rushed at any point (but was also an off hour for eating)

This is a great family business, and basically the only buffet left in the city.

If you don't want buffets to die out for good, come eat here!

its an ok place to get Chinese's when your in marion cause there's really no other Chinese's restaurant. its small and not much to pick from.

Love getting takeout here. It's always quick and fresh. When eating at the tables it's not as clean as I would like. Blinds could use a wipe down. But that's just me being picky. My favorite is their Hunan Chicken and my kiddo adores their roast pork lo mein!

Food was over cooked and it looked like it had been on the buffet for several days. Not much of a selection. Very high priced for what you get. A/C could not keep up with the heat and made it a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Go net door to the Casey’s and have a slice of pizza instead, you will be happier.

I visited here on Sunday October 13th
1. the lady who waited on us was rude
2. Not a big enough variety
3. When I got home I was sick.. vomiting and diarrhea - Dr said I had food poisoning.

How does a restaurant get away with locking costumers in the building we had to wait till someone came in thought that they just forgot to unlock the doors but nope they keep the doors locked food was OK but damn I gotta be locked in to eat crazy

I was just at the Golden Palace Chinese restaurant in Marion Iowa. I have never eaten in such a horrible place. We love Chinese and eat out alot. We will NEVER be back to this place again. The pineapple chicken was pork. Another chicken was pork instead. Everything was warm no where near hot. Just wasn't a good place today at all. When I told the woman there she said thank you, your bill is $ 24.60. That kind of money foe such bad food. We will stay with our Chinese restaurant at home. Be care what you eat.
