Pancheros Mexican Grill - Marion

I've been coming to Pancheros for nearly 20 years. It is hands down the best place for reasonably priced, delicious, good for you food, that's super filling with large portions.
I very really experience any issues but even minor misses are always taken care of.

Two girl workers with orange dyed hair looking were mad when we walked in, they have an hour to close. Rolls her eyes, was swearing. Forgot my food on the grill. Was very rude to us. And they were all whispering stuff about me and my friends. terrible they need fired. Forgot silverware. Over charged because they were mad.

This is my favorite panch in the whole cedar rapids area. This one is located in Marion off of hwy 13 and 100 tucked behind kwickstar in the strip mall by the new Freddie's, also my favorite Freddie's.

If I could give negative stars about the employees attitudes I would. Both female employees working today 12/1/25 at 1pm were both rude and disrespectful.

This location is a joke. I placed an online order only to sit there for 15 minutes waiting for my order after the listed pick up time. It would have been much quicker for me to order in person. Along with the wait and terrible service the portion sizes at this location are small. I paid for extra steak and it sure doesn't seem like I got it. I definitely don't feel like you get what you pay for from this location.

Extremely slow service. Stopped in approximately 1:30 in the afternoon on Sunday. Most of the seats were empty, and all the tables were filthy. I had to wipe down our own table to have a place to sit. The cleanliness behind the glass in the serving area left much to be desired. This may have been from a lunch rush. The ladies restroom was out of order, forcing everybody to use the filthy men’s room. Also, the flush handle for the men’s room toilet was broken.

The quality of the food was lackluster. The meat was very bland.

Sunday at 4:45 pm. Only people in the restaurant, 5 employees that I could see. The preparation areas by the food containers was filthy. It appeared they hadn’t been cleaned all day. The counter by the register and the soda station dirty with food and drink mess. I always loved this location but I will probably go elsewhere in the future.

I used to love Pancheros, but after my recent visit, I’m extremely disappointed. I spent $60, and it was honestly a waste of money. The customer service was awful from start to finish—staff members were rude, aggressive, dismissive, and unhelpful. To top it off, the food was not only poorly made, but it also made me feel sick afterward, it was rancid!!! The place was messy, a lot of cross contamination and the entire experience was a letdown. I’ve always been a fan of Pancheros, but after this, I’m seriously reconsidering ever returning. If you’re looking for good food and decent service, I’d recommend going somewhere else. I would also appreciate a refund, I drove over an hour for this, I still haven’t heard from the customer service line, I highly suggest to you guys to find some new staff!!!!
