First time there. Very impressed. I had a BBQ chicken sandwich and kid had chili cheeseburger. Both were delicious. Compareable prices to other places. A relaxed atmosphere. Jake our server was great. He came to our table just the right amount of times and was very friendly. Will definitely go

Plenty of beer and burgers on tap! Great atmosphere and our server was right on top of everything. The breading on the fish sandwich was subpar, but, that is why I got the burger. Aside from that our table of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Will be back again.

This is a very nice place to go to relax and watch a game on the TV or chill in the back away from the bar. Me and my significant other stopped in to watch a football game. The server was very accommodating to get the game on the tv of our choice. We ordered dinner and were happy with our choices. I heard there is other Shorts around, I believe iowa City was one and possibly another location. We will be trying them all.
The burgers are just meh. Nothing special about them & not a whole lot of flavor/seasoning. I will say, they were extremely greasy even for bar food. The cheese curds were the best thing at the table (5 of us were there, 5 different meals). The service was good though and it's really cute inside. Just disappointed in the burgers because I heard they were the best in town (they're not).

Went on Saturday during second half of hawkeye football debacle, I've been to shorts a few times and was trying to convince my girlfriend that it was the best burger in the area. She said it was the best burger she's had this year, we will be back. Great service, drinks and food, would strongly recommend.
