This place has some of the most rude employees I have ever encountered. I have rarely been treated so badly in my life, and for no reason at all. My wife and I were literally refused service by one of the employees for no discernible reason. They tried telling me that the smoothie in the attached picture had strawberries in it. NO WAY!!! We will never return to this location!

Marion IA—deserves 10-stars, great service, delicious fresh wraps (Baja chicken & buffalo chicken, jalapeño corn), perfect smoothie, great service (didn’t rush us, explained things to us, then thanked us (these kids did a GREAT JOB)). Clean, cheap, quick…. Need I say more? Way better than McDonalds far less expensive. Great parking (I’m on crutches, I had no difficulty getting in and seated). This was our first visit but definitely not our last! Good bye Culver’s frozen custard hello tropical smoothie!!!!
Order a smoothie, however this one was more watery than any I've had before which I didn't enjoy very much.One bad experience won't deter me from giving them another chance.

I stopped here to get the Chicken Chorizo Wrap that I really like but this location didn't seem to have it. So I decided to try the New Acai Bowl instead. The Açai Bowl was pretty good and the ingredients were an acceptable 7/10 for freshness. But not only was the bowl pricey (like $2 more than their other bowls...) but they only had cheap plastic bowls & spoons for them. The cheap dishes really diminished the entire dine in experience. My daughter ordered a Pineapple & Coconut Smoothie which was good but they added banana to it so she wouldn't even drink it.

We stopped by Pancheros for a quick lunch and a break while driving from Milwaukee to Omaha and saw the smoothie shop next door and I knew I was getting dessert from here. I'm a sucker for a good smoothie and I just had to try it. The store was bright and clean. It wasn't very busy, only a few people in the store. To my surprise in looking at the menu, I found out that they do much more than just smoothies - they do bowls and actual food as well. I'll keep that tucked in my brain for the next time we stop by. I wanted something a little more indulgent than super healthy, so I was pulled towards their "Tropical Treats" section of the menu and I ultimately went with the Bahama Mama - strawberries, pineapple, coconut, and white chocolate. Oh it was so good! It was fruity, tropical, and perfectly sweet. It really was very good. The staff was nice and the smoothie didn't take long to make either! The only gripe I had was that it was very big and even with sharing with my husband, we weren't able to finish it. I wish there were size options, so I didn't have to pay $6+ for a drink I didn't finish.

First time going here and it was a great experience. I was welcomed right away and the employees were patient with me as it was my first time being here. I ended up getting the detox smoothie and one of the wraps. It was very good and for a good price. Also the atmosphere was wonderful and the workers seemed very cheerful and energetic! Definitely will be coming back when I travel through here!Dietary restrictions: It’s the perfect place to go to if you are trying to be healthier. The food is not too heavy and the smoothies are great!

Tropical smoothie is one of my favorite places and I frequent the Ames location when I am in uni. When this store opened I was very excited, but have been disappointed time and time again. (I typically go through the drive-thru so this may just be relevant to that.) On one of my first visits I was given smoothies with no labels, the wrong food, and had three separate people handing me things through the window. I have had my food messed up, not received parts of an order that are supposed to come with menu items, and I have been given the wrong smoothie on multiple occasions. Today I was given a smoothie with banana, which I don't eat and was not what I ordered. I would like to trust that I will be getting EVERYTHING that is included in the description of what I order and be given the correct items, but every time I have to correct them or ask for something that they forgot. I will keep going, but I just wish there was better coordination with the drive-thru.
