Service was fast. But the reason for the low rating is due to the food. Food was very salty and this is not the first time I have noticed this. I ordered a steak burrito bowl and a steak burrito and the meat was just very salty. I do appreciate the big portions for what I’m paying but it was sad we couldn’t take more than a couple of bites.

Bought a steak burrito today and hardly any meat in it. Mostly rice and beans. No flavor whatsoever. Asked for mild salsa verde and it was spicy!!! 5 years ago this place was great. Now it’s not worth going to. They’ve lost my business.

Our family loves this local restaurant. Great food options and really nice customer service. Regardless of what I order, I always have to pair it with elotes in a cup 😋.

OK, I've wanted to try this place for a long time but hadn't because I've heard mixed reviews. And now I can see why they're so mixed. So, overall, the food is decent. It's edible, it tastes mostly ok. BUT, as another review mentioned, the steak is extremely skimpy in the burritos. Which is fine with me, because once I finally did get a bite of steak, (probably about 7 bites in) it tasted a bit smokey, but only a little. Smokey can be good, but I'm not the biggest fan of smoked meats. Toward the end of the burrito, I got a bigger piece of steak and ate it by itself, and it was WAY too smokey. It tasted like a piece of burnt wood from a bonfire. Not a big deal, I just won't order the steak again. But we also got a side of chips and guacamole. The chips were insanely crunchy, like difficult to eat crunchy, and the guacamole just tasted mostly like garlic. Definitely needed some salt on the chips AND in the guacamole itself. My daughter got a cheese quesadilla and they didn't give us the juice it was supposed to come with, and the quesadilla itself was huge width wise, but so skinny you could barely tell there was cheese in it.

Ordered a steak bowel from there basically got a salad got a whole lotta nothing better off skipping this place
Like a Chipotle in Marshalltown. I build my own bowl. Absolutely delicious. Been probably 20 times and they’ve shorted me or forgot something maybe 2 times. Great quick and healthy (if you make it) option.

I went through the drive-through with someone getting a meal. I ordered a caramel-filled churro. Delicious!

Think chipotle but fresher, more authentic in flavor. Always love supporting local business as well. Quality and service is always great. I’m definitely a regular.

Ay Carumba's ingredients are always top notch. I've had burrito bowls which I never have anything to complain about and I've had their quesadillas. Those are pretty messy and not easily handled but the taste is always on point. Highly recommend them for a quick lunch grab!
