The food was not bad! It had flavor. The rice was amazing but the Lomain had no flavor to it. Little things me and my husband noticed. The waiter was working hard and very kind to return my phone that I left in side the restaurant😅. I was a bit upset that the host did not communicate with us. Only walked to a table making me more confused.

China Buffet in Marshalltown has really good food. Everything I’ve tried tastes great, the meat is cooked well, the sauces are flavorful, and the fried rice is solid. Their egg rolls and General Tso Chicken are my favorites. The staff is also super nice, which makes the whole experience even better. Just good food and good people.

I went here to get dinner with my boyfriend and there were flies everywhere. The food had been sitting out for longer than it should be. We didnt even finish 1 plate and told the workers about our stomachs hurting from their food and we only got 5$ off of our meals. Still paid 28$. Do not go here it is NOT sanitary, and the food does not taste good.

What a scam! $10.00 for tip! Why in the world would you put on the paper $10.00 tip! Barely had any food out, thankfully the food was hot. But really a $10.00 tip literally on the paper they gave us says $10.00 tip
Worst place to eat in town. Thought we would try it since the buffet we like was closed. Food...old...cold...and barely any. My wife ate one or two bites and was done. So to top it off the lady takin your money at the end had the nerve to be rude. I handed her the cash and held out my hand for my change, she just threw it on the counter. That was it. After bad food and bad service. I threw my change at her. That bad. Never going back. And almost 40 dollars for 2. Dont do it.

Half the food was warm the other hot food was cold ... Kinda tastes like week old food .. I eat at a lot of Buffetts and this is by far the worst one I been too . I only gave 2 stars because the place was clean and the employees were nice
