The food was not bad! It had flavor. The rice was amazing but the Lomain had no flavor to it. Little things me and my husband noticed. The waiter was working hard and very kind to return my phone that I left in side the restaurant😅. I was a bit upset that the host did not communicate with us. Only walked to a table making me more confused.
China Buffet in Marshalltown has really good food. Everything I’ve tried tastes great, the meat is cooked well, the sauces are flavorful, and the fried rice is solid. Their egg rolls and General Tso Chicken are my favorites. The staff is also super nice, which makes the whole experience even better. Just good food and good people.
Though the restaurant is a little rough and could use some work, this is one of the best buffets I've ever been to. They're super attentive and kind and definitely customer oriented!
