“I stopped at Lara’s yesterday for the first time, and was greeted with wonderful smells and beautiful smiles! The staff was very, very kind. I told one of the girls I’d never been in before, and she proceeded to show me everything on display. All of the yummy baked goods and pastries are huge, and the prices are very very reasonable! I left with 7 treats and only paid $9.50. Awesome quality, astounding service, a joy to have in Marshalltown!“

“Our office had a small get together for our Christmas party. We had reservations and the atmosphere was warm and inviting with Christmas decorations all around. Staff was excellent! Everyone was so inviting and friendly with a total willingness to make certain our experience was second to none. Union is a small town in central Iowa and the 'Iowa nice' attitude was quite evident. The food was outstanding! We all had the Prime Rib and none of us ever had better. Each of us got the exact doneness we desired. It was perfect! Super smashed potatoes, vegetable, excellent rolls and desert completed our meals. We will definitely return!“
