Some of the younger kids act like it is an inconvenience to them to wait on you. Terrible customer service BUT others are amazing. 60% bad and 40 % great. Prices are a bit high for what you get. Ice cream is great - we buy it by the quart. Better than what you get in a grocery store.

I love Dairy Queen ice cream and on my dieing day my last request will be on last Carmel molottee with Xtra Carmel onKid-friendliness: Any kid you take to DQ is gonna be happy to be there with all the choices from hot dogs to any kind of ice cream treat those kids that love ice cream could dream of like I did when I was a kid because I still love DQ and will always eat DQ and I pray nothing ever changes it.Parking: It has a nice sized area to park if wantedWheelchair accessibility: You can roll right up to the windows and order Its all open at front of building and there are 2 windows to order from so anyone in W/C or on crutches or roller blades can get up to and order from the windows.

We always receive excellent service and products from the historic 3rd Avenue Dairy Queen in Marshalltown.
About 20 minutes in drive through to get a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate.Finally at window and paid. Another 8 minutes and no ice creamEnded up driving off with no money and no ice cream.

I work for a place where I assist people with special needs. We went to get ice cream. For one it took them awhile to come to the window. When they did come to the window they informed me that they could only do 2 separate orders. I had 2 of my people with me. I then had to get them back in the vehicle and I took them to a different place to get ice cream. Kind of disappointed in my experience there.
