What can I say that hasn’t been said. This place is a gem. I’m deeply grateful this restaurant is in our town. An example of fantastic customer service and being consistent. I love the food. The servers are all amazing. They will go out of their way to fix an issue if you let them know what is wrong. Alfonso keeps innovating and trying new things. When some things don’t work he is not afraid to pivot. And the restaurant just doesn’t miss a beat. They had live music for their 25th anniversary. My wife, son and I cherished the experience. Here is to another 25. Felicidades amigos de La Carreta.

My partner and I are both vegan, and this is some of the best vegan food I have had. I was extremely impressed to see quite a number of vegan options on the menu. Usually I only see 2 options, if any, when going to a Mexican restaurant. Then we learned the owner was vegan, so that was pretty neat! My partner had the vegan street tacos with vegan steak and I had the vegan quesadilla with vegan steak. They have vegan meats available (like vegan steak, vegan chicken, etc) and they even have vegan cheeses including vegan cream cheese! If we are ever in the area, we will definitely be stopping here again. So yummy!! Just FYI, the majority of food items on the menu are not vegan but the high number of vegan dishes they DO have is great. Service was great, and atmosphere was great!

Me and my brother went there for lunch/supper. We got the 2 pound burrito each with mixed meat (chicken and steak). We talked to the owner of the restaurant the 1st time my brother took me there. Very polite guy, he told us how he came up with the 2 pound burrito and told us about 2 other burritos he has there as a challenge to get them for free or for purchase. The staff there is very polite as well. I saw other people's orders and they looked delicious as well. You get your money worth that's for sure.

I tried this place 6 years ago and forgot about it until I was in town again recently looking for somewhere to eat and found this restaurant that looked familiar that i’ve been longing for 6 years. great price too 100/10 stars!!!

Food is scrumptious, service is awesome, takeout is convenient. The people are the absolute best. I couldn't be happier to have such a stellar option for vegetarian and vegan food. Food is decent. The chacoflan is amazing and the service that Donnie provides is every better. Donnie always takes care of our group when we come into town. He's fast, attentive, and always makes sure to make things right. If I owned a restaurant, I'd steal Donnie from ya.

I'll be back for the chacoflan!

Found LA Carreta via Google for a work meeting. Our server was Donnie Benda - he’s an employee you call a keeper! He gave a great recommendation based on what I described I wanted, he was very attentive, and pleasant to talk with! Great experience and if we came back we’d ask to be seated in his area. He’s a server you won’t find again!! I’m a business owner myself and if I was in the restaurant business, I’d definitely add him to my team! Great food and atmosphere. Thank you!!

I had the pulled beef nachos supreme 😋 😋😋, beef was delicious with all the toppings 🤩.

La Carreta, if summed up in a single word, is family.

My wife, 3 children, and I frequent this place more often than any other restaurant by far. The food is always fantastic, the wait is never too long, and the atmosphere is comfortable and vibrant.

What we love most, however, is how we are treated. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm smile and you get the feeling of being a family member, back for another home cooked meal.

Alfonso, the owner, lives for his community. The walls of his restaurant are full of positive pictures and messages. The staff of La Carreta are constantly involved in community first activities. I honestly cannot say enough good about this place.

La Carreta will forever be our place to eat and enjoy each other's company. Thank you Alfonso for everything you do. You have life-long customers.

Kid-friendliness: The staff at La Carreta are super friendly. My family always feels welcome and our kids always feel part of the La Carreta family!

Wanted to have a fresh dish on a warm day..opted for the aguachile. My friend had to wait for me as my dish was delayed. The aspect was appealing but flavor was bland, no heat, lacked lime and cumin.
A tad disappointed on the service and food.
