I stopped at Lara’s yesterday for the first time, and was greeted with wonderful smells and beautiful smiles! The staff was very, very kind. I told one of the girls I’d never been in before, and she proceeded to show me everything on display. All of the yummy baked goods and pastries are huge, and the prices are very very reasonable! I left with 7 treats and only paid $9.50. Awesome quality, astounding service, a joy to have in Marshalltown!
We are from Indianola. Came to town for g-kids football game. Decided to ck your town out... I drove past Lara’s Bakery and turned around.. I mean like who doesn’t need a little sweetness in their life? Marshalltown you are soo blessed... Lara’s Bakery is AWESOME... I mean, really AWESOME!!! We didn’t know where to begin or end... Everything was delicious!!! I cant wait until we go back next Sat! She said their other business was hit by the tornado last yr......read full review
