I don't typically eat Mexican food, but I decided to try this place due to the appealing picture advertisements I've seen on Facebook. The food looked tasteful, and I wanted to try their Mexican cuisine for the first time. Upon entering, my friend and I were not greeted. We turned the corner to find the entire family, including babies, and the whole restaurant engaged in a fight in the back. My friend felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave, but I suggested staying. However, after standing there for 10 minutes without being acknowledged, we decided to leave and try another Mexican restaurant. We sat outside, hoping the fight would subside, as I still wanted to try their food. Upon re-entering, the fight continued, so we left again. A young lady apologized to us as we exited, while the men involved in the fight stood outside, staring at us. Uncertain about the situation, we got in our cars and left. I was disappointed.

Mi Ranchito has great food. The service was very friendly and fast. If you are ever looking for a great restaurant while in Marshalltown, this is your place. Located close to downtown, easy parking, too.

Men where screaming while playing pool, the food was weird, they took to long to give us the food and that's all.

Very bad experience, the flavors of the dishes no longer taste like they used to, salty and bad service, there were only 7 of us, they gave us 6 dishes and they left one person without eating and the vevidas didn't bring us all the ones we ordered even though I went to order the many times

Use to go here often when I lived down the street. Went back for the first time in a couple of years, and the service was terrible. We got up and left after being treated rudely. Will not go back.
