Don't let the outside, the location, or even the inside fool you. This was as close to authentic Mexican food at its finest. I was so shocked. I ordered carnitas and it is melt in your mouth. Everything was cooked to perfection. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by how well their salsa is. At first I thought it was just going to look like picante sauce out of a jar but nope, it is really good. Definitely stop here if you get a chance.

Great food, great service, and reasonably priced. The margaritas are the best in town. Only negative is that it can be very loud- to where it's difficult to even hold a conversation. Otherwise, this place is great and one of our favorite places to eat!

So happy this place was right off the highway! We were on a road trip and drove by Marshalltown during lunch. This was so much better than just roadside drive through. The lunch menu is so affordable, the service is awesome, and the food is very flavorful. We had the lunch fajitas, the nachos, and the burrito special. The salsa was fresh, the beer was cold. Happy to know this place was here as it's exactly halfway on the trip back.

Everything from beginning to end was fantastic. The service was fast and the servers were friendly and attentive. The chips were fresh and warm, the salsa was very nicely spicy and the queso was very flavorful. The margs were wonderful, I had raspberry and my husband had the regular lime, both on the rocks. Our food was nothing short of amazing, huge portions and great flavor. I can’t say enough good things, it was the kind of atmosphere where we felt like we could spend the afternoon or evening just relaxing and enjoying the food and beverages. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!
