Hella dirty and gross always. Food portions are tiny and over priced. Food is mediocre at best.

Edit* Perkins has made a change for the better. My last review was 2 years ago. I've gone here a few times since then. Food is much better. Staff is super friendly. And they cleaned up. Great place to grab breakfast with friends.

Went here after a Friday night lights game. As expected, the place was slightly busy as we entered, but died down quite quickly. We were seated right away and the hostess said that our waitress would be there shortly. 30 WHOLE MINUTES PASS BY WITHOUT A WORD. When we ordered our drinks, we also ordered our food. Simple pancakes that take maybe a minute to make each. Hour passes by. It’s 12:15 and my party is all quite tired. We were hoping that we would be out of there around 11:45 ish but no, kept us waiting as everyone else in the restaurant was served besides us. I am almost certain that the cooks were laying our order off even though it would have been the quickest to make. I can’t fully blame this on our waitress, but without doubt, the amount of time to get our beverages was absurd. In all, I do not recommend this place as the service is slow most of the time and there are better places, like Applebees or Legends, in Marshalltown that are way better. DO BETTER.

Possibly the worst service I’ve ever received. I was sat right away, then waited 30 minutes for them TO TAKE MY DRINK ORDER. I then ordered my food and then over an hour later it finally came out. I’ve worked food service, it’s not that hard, the entire staff should be fired. Seriously do better this shouldn’t be acceptable.

We were seated in a timely fashion. Our waitress Maegannn was the best! Our order was taken quickly and accurately. The food was amazing and priced appropriately. Will definitely be visiting again!

The 3rd Shift Manager and staff are very good and caring. Came in at midnight wanting potato pancakes and coffee and they did absolutely amazing

Currently here, the lady sweet, but sat here for 15 mins not sure if she’s new but, our food was raw and was missing food from order
