The Flying Elbow is such a fun spot with seriously amazing burgers and creative flavors! Their burgers are juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. It's no wonder they've been named Iowa's Best Burger!

My personal favorites are the Brisco, the limited edition Boston Crab, and their Mac & Cheese. With an order of their delicious fries and ranch, of course!

The wrestling-themed decor adds a fun touch that makes the whole dining experience super memorable. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, upbeat, and fast! Highly recommend but I'm warning you, you won't be able to move for a while!

By no means should what I'm about to say be taken negatively. This place is good, but I'd like to just share my experience. The place looks like if Macho Man and a biker bar had a child, which is a good thing. I love the atmosphere. It's got these nice black walls that draw attention to what's on them...jerseys and awards and memorabilia. Their menu layout and design are really good, too. Giving off a Hard Rock Cafe vibe. When using the bathrooms, I did notice they had a sign telling their employees to wash their hands, which is always nice, but it was a little dirty. It was aggressively pink and smelled like a French perfume in there, so that's a thing. The Price was well... pricey. For just myself, it was $20. All I got was some cheese curds, a 24-oz soda, and the Texas rattlesnake burger. Speaking of the Food, it took a good 20 minutes to come out. Granted, there were 20 other people my age there, but my my my it took me a minute to get through. Thee taste was interesting, but I've eaten things like it before. My boss ordered a burger and asked for her meal not to have Doritos on her meal but still had some.
Overall, the place is okay, just not when too many people are there. It seems they were rushed, and that's why some food was overcooked or undercooked. It really reminds me of one of those spots local gangs like to visit because it matches their vibe. But would I recommend it? No, not personally, but it is still definitely worth a try if you're in town.

I've eating ALOT of burgers in my life as there is nothing more american then a hot burger and a cold beer. After wanting to try the flying elbow's burgers for 9 months last Friday i finally did. The only thing I regret is not trying it sooner because its one of the BEST sandwiches ive ever eaten. I have ate at the flying elbow 3 times in the last 7 days. Double Cowboybob is my favorite burger so far and i plan to try many more items! The staff is polite, the establishment is by far one of the cleanest places in Marshalltown even in the areas most guests don't get to see.

If you want that WWE nostalgia, look no further than the Flying Elbow.

The menu might be a little difficult to understand at first but all of the staff are knowledgeable and very helpful to guide you through it all.

We had a large group and we all nibbled at everyone’s orders we got to test a lot of things on the menu and everything was super tasty.

Hands down the best burger I've ever had. (Jerry the king, your basic lettuce tomato onion cheese burger) I drive an hour just to eat there kinda regularly!

The Flying Elbow in Marshalltown is a gem. The atmosphere is fun and unique with a wrestling theme that adds personality without being over the top. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the service was impressively quick.

We had to try the 2023 award-winning BBQ pork sandwich, and it absolutely lived up to the hype—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered came out fast and was clearly made with care. A great spot for excellent food and a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!
