Down to earth no-frills type of food, very nice options with a friendly and welcoming gal at the counter and small-town diner type of atmosphere. Honest food from people-like-family place.
I particularly like Burke's Bar and Grill because it's down home, friendly, and has personal service. If you don't know somebody in your neighborhood at Burke's then you're in the wrong place. You won't be disappointed in their food and their service.
Great place to go to eat, but the short hours are kind of surprising for a bar and is more fitting for a restaurant. Just be aware that they close at 11. I always get the hot beef when I'm in town, but I've also tried their burgers and assorted fried foods and they are delicious.
