“We were driving through from Waterloo to Minneapolis, stopped in Mason City to visit family and looked at Google maps for restaurants. Happy Donkey came up. Only one other table with customers. We were skeptical. Service was friendly, establishment was clean, food was delicious (donkey enchilada was my choice and couldn't have been happier)!! Worth stopping!! 5/5!!!“

“Popped in for some cocktails after having some initial difficulty finding (resides in the basement of the hotel which actually gives it a little bit of a speakeasy aesthetic). Drinks were amazing and enjoyed the conversation with the local server. Would definitely stop by again!“
