This place is Amazing. Hands down one of the best hole in the wall breakfast/Lunch places ever. Staff was very friendly and had a very relaxed vibe to it. We got breakfast and the pancakes were perfectly sized where you could actually eat them. The price looked like it was from 2005. Very affordable place! Would highly recommend!

There is an entrance in the front and the rear. There is public parking behind. I ordered the loaded hashbrowns, with added jalapenos. Food tasted amazing. Crisp, yet tender hashbrowns. Everything is made from scratch.. Amber helped us with our group of 6. Great cafe atmosphere. Black coffee is great - nothing needed to make it better (Amber makes it herself). This is a must return when in Mason City, Iowa!

Just a little hole in the wall diner❣️ was the biggest and best tenderloin I have ever had❣️SO GOOD!!
Home old diner feeling here. Love it. Family enjoyed the food. I had breakfast, hubby had liver and onion meal. Says it's the best he's ever tasted. Our daughter had a Bacon Burger and loved it. Friendly staff was great. Food does take time to get to the table but the wait was worth it.

We were there for 40 minutes, and we got up, paid, and left. The waitress was very nice, brought our bottles of soda and glasses of ice quickly. A few minutes after we ordered, she came back and said it'd be awhile. 15 minutes after that, she apologized for the wait and said there was a big group. We had no problem waiting, but the atmosphere became too much to ignore, and that was the reason we left. When we walked in and saw an older lady holding a baby and vaping, we knew we were in an interesting place. There was a very obnoxious and loud individual who was speaking very crass the entire time we were there. Ultimately I couldn't take the loud dialog and had to leave. I don't know how long the big group had been there but we never saw any food come out of the kitchen. We won't be coming back.

How much time do you have? Took 45 minutes to get simple breakfasts which unfortunately gave us time to listen to the local’s interactions, discussions of neighbor’s problems, or listen to one patron’s phone videos 😖 Really emphasize supporting local businesses, but just can’t say this one is worth the effort. Food was ok, but standard diner fare. Poor cook in the kitchen working on too small of a stove. Leave it for the locals…

I was dining in, and my food never came. I sat down and waited over 45 minutes for my food. I told them multiple times that I had to leave soon and to please hurry. The had never even started cooking until about 30 minutes into my time there. I ended up paying for my food, and having to leave after being there nearly an hour to get to a meeting. A disappointing experience.
