Great, friendly atmosphere. Awesome food, amazing coffee and smiles in abundance. For a cozy home away from home cooks is my place, so I dare ya step out of the boxes and into a hot dish and enjoy the friendly company.

Perfect small town breakfast place. Very casual, everyone’s friendly, breakfast is very cheap for big portions. Less than 20 dollars for two adult breakfasts and 2 sides for a baby. Brought my baby boy in and everyone had so much fun with him, waitresses were so nice!! Definitely our go-to.

We ordered ahead so we could pick it up. They were very accommodating. Offered other options to go with what I had ordered. (Breakfast potatoes, let me just say OMG! ) so yummy. I belive the whole meal is country skillet? Incredible. Must have. Briana even walked my order out to the car for me when I arrived. Great service always and very yummy food! And very reasonably priced. Thumbs way up! Oh hold up. Hashbrowns! If you like them Cooked a certain way! They've got you! I'm a brat. They did great! LOTS of cheese options. That's a fav!!
Parking: Lots of room in the back to park and beside the building.
Kid-friendliness: It's a very small town diner feeling. Like grandma's kitchen. Very comfortable for adults as well as kids.

Cook's Cafe has friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. As others reviewers have experienced, it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive but that was okay in our case. However, the food quality and portions for the price charged were both very disappointing. Two of us ordered Loaded Hash Browns for $7.50 and we both thought there was a mistake and they accidentally gave us a side order of hash browns instead. The waitress verified we received the correct item. The portion size was about a quarter of what one would receive if they ordered the same item at another breakfast place like Ihop or Perkins.Another ordered the Biscuits and Gravy for $7.95. When delivered this was three small biscuits with a bit of gravy. The biscuits were rubbery and the gravy was bland. Others in our party ordered some different entrees and their reactions were similar. All this made for a very disappointing experience.

Good food, great prices, there will be a wait.
If you have some time and want to have a chill home cooked meal at a good price, this is a wonderful option. The food comes out hot and fresh. It is most likely to be a wait. We go here and chat while waiting to eat. If you are on a tight timetable, then this is not a good choice.

Stopped in for lunch after my husband did their internet. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant is very cozy and homey. The portions were large and affordable, and were delicious on top of that. We got onion rings and cheese balls as starters. I had a patty melt and fries, and my husband had a club sandwich and a cup of soup. We also had three bottles of pop (they don’t have fountain pop here). For all that, we were only out 34 dollars! That’s cheaper (and better tasting) than eating at any fast food restaurant.
I would definitely call this place a hidden gem. Go check it out!

Waited over 50 minutes for eggs and pancakes. Service was slow as well and the atmosphere was a dive diner at best.

It was my first time and I had a great experience. Smiling staff, lowkey atmosphere, the obvious regulars were also welcoming. This will be my new take myself to breakfast spot!
