This restaurant is the best Mexican food in mason city by far! It’s a shame they aren’t as busy as they should be. If you like flavor and are tired of that plain old flavorless food stop by this hidden gem! You won’t be let down!

So I took my wife out and my son and we had a great time the food was awesome gyros they had plus hamburger hot dogs and Mexican food pretty much a big giant variety my wife had lengua burrito I had a carne asada burrito it was good.
I come from California all my life and I have to say it was pretty good plus they had Mexican ice cream nice to see that.
all they need now is a dance floor.
Plus it was family owned very nice people.

Excellent pico to start the meal and very crispy chips! Gyro supreme and steak gyro were both really good, and the fries were perfectly seasoned and delicious.

The only thing that was the why I gave a 3 on service is because of the fact that we struggled to communicate because of a language barrier but he was friendly and the food was great.

I think they sell food for ants here. Meaning, some of the portion sizes are incredibly small. Almost insultingly so.Between work and travel, I’ve eaten at taco trucks and taquerias from here to San Francisco, Las Vegas to Albuquerque, up to Denver, and back.And, let me tell you, I’ve never paid $10 for such a small burrito before. I wish I could show you, but I accidentally inhaled it before I was able to take a picture.Thankfully, because I think it might have blown away had I sneezed or moved too suddenly. I’m talking small SMALL, I’d need a magnifying glass to find it again.I also ordered tacos, which were a fair size for the price, but they were soggy and didn’t have much flavor.I’m not sure how they stay in business with products like these, but maybe other items on their menu are portioned more appropriately?I’m only giving 3 stars, because the young man that runs the cash register is very personable.

Their new location on N. Federal is a little hidden, so hopefully they get the attention and foot traffic they deserve. They can usually have a to-go order done within 10 min in my experience. My go to is the chorizo burrito.

What a great little gem on the North side of Mason City. Perfect sized portions. The food is very tasty and served nice and hot. The service is amazing. The young man waiting on us was great. So good to see young folks so passionate about their job! I would recommend it to anyone to try.
