When I stopped by the happy donkey, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their tacos and drinks. Their house-made strawberry tequila was the highlight of my visit, and I appreciated the option to order drinks in ceramic vessels with unique flavors like lime, pineapple, and other tropical flavors. I ended up buying a few bottles to go, and I would definitely recommend this place to others.There is ample parking and the service was fantastic.
We were driving through from Waterloo to Minneapolis, stopped in Mason City to visit family and looked at Google maps for restaurants. Happy Donkey came up. Only one other table with customers. We were skeptical. Service was friendly, establishment was clean, food was delicious (donkey enchilada was my choice and couldn't have been happier)!! Worth stopping!! 5/5!!!
Drinks are awesome here the food is pretty good just need that at the delicious hot sauces they have they have like four different kind definitely recommend their homemade tequila pineapple or strawberry delicious of course the bartender it makes you feel welcome and always making you want to come
