Pancheros Mexican Grill - Mason City

Hello Mason city, I'd like to point out that my past visit to Pancheros did not go so well. I went there with my mother at around 2:15-2:30 pm, and we were greated with the nicest workers, and all was going good until the manager came out. We had seen her previously overviewing a new employee. And he was a nice guy talkative and just had a good vibe. He made a mistake on an order prior to us, and she called him to the back to "talk to him" and believe or not her voice was heard by others cussing and giving her employee a hard time for a simple mistake. Later on my mother and I were waiting for the steak to get cooked, and the manager comes up and starts telling us what we want. And we told her no we're waiting for the steak politely, and she gave us both a dirty look. So I'm not saying the customer service was bad, but the management needs a good look at on who they put in charge.

Slow service, fermented pico, sour cream, tasted rotten. Carnitas old and dried out. Big waste of money and time!!!

Dirty and the employees are angry every single time I go in. Today was the last day I went in and I walked right out not wanting to deal with someone slamming the spoon of beans in my bowl.

Called ahead for a group of 30 people roughly 12 hours ahead. Not surprisingly, they were out of food when we arrived an we needed to wait an hour. Rude. Erratic. A bit hostile. A typical Friday in MC.

Food is ok, usually the burritos end up lukewarm within minutes of being at the table, because it seems like the only thing they keep hot is the meat, but everything is seasoned well. Their famous Blue tortillas were broken in the bag, very few intact. Service staff act indifferent, like they could care less if they provide good service for customers. Dining room was relatively clean, but I saw at least 4 tables that needed to be cleaned in the dining area.

The place is really great. And the person who served us is really very good and kind. He helped us through out for choosing as we are vegetarian.

The best burritos ever known to man are made in this glorious place. Will always go here whenever I'm able and highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stop and grub out.

Gave this place a second chance from winter. Winter was awful but today June 8 2024 looks like a whole new staff, a lot cleaner fresher food. Also I just want to say today's staff was amazing! Absolutely A+++ hard workers and friendly atmosphere. Thank you for hiring a different staff who actually cares about their job it makes a world of difference. I'll be coming back with my family ✌️??

I had the quesadillas, on a busy Friday evening and the food was prepared professionally right in front of me. Even the tortilla was made fresh as I watched. Recommend you try this spot if have yet to do so.

They need to figure out staffing or something I’ve been waiting about 30 minutes and told it might be another 50 minutes because of DoorDash. Priorities in person customer or have more staff

Ordered off DoorDash tonight and my driver waited almost 45 minutes just to get the food it was well over a hour till the food was even made i usually like the place but definitely not happy with it anymore
