Delicious food, with fast friendly service.
Outdoor seating was plentiful and comfortable.

We ate here a few times during our stay at the nearby Park Inn Hotel. The food is pretty solid for what you can expect from a new American restaurant. We liked everything we tried. Their sweet potatoes are prime!!! The only thing I didn’t like much was that last time we went we felt rushed all the time by the waitress. Half of the tables were empty, we were trying to finish our wine, and she kept coming every minute to offer us the check ?. Other than that, it’s a very nice place and the patio tables have a great view to the FLW building next door.

We had a large party and our server was swamped with us and other reservations that all came at the same time. Our server was working hard but the manager could have stepped in to help and certainly should have paid attention to timing of reservations.

Had some family in town to visit & went to The Quarry for dinner. It was a nice evening & the food was good. Our service was pretty slow / not attentive, going to give the benefit of the doubt that our server was waiting inside and out tables

From what I had seen online(Facebook and reviews) this looked like a place I wanted to try. We arrived around 3:30pm. First off, the front door was covered in smeared fingerprints. The restaurant appeared to be empty. We sat ourselves and our server greeted us. We ordered a couple drinks and water. I took a sip of water and did not wish to have more. We ordered our food and I was just sitting looking around and noticed a drink straw and crumbs by the couch area, crumbs under tables and crumbs along the walls and corners. Maybe they had a crazy busy lunch hour??? The food was good. But, I guess, for the price I wouldn't go back. I've had ALOT better for less $$$. I know we are in "pricey times". Did I mention our server was fantastic?

We chose The Quarry because it was our anniversary-as we have been there many times and it was always good but haven’t been there for a coupe of years. We were told to seat ourselves. Outside seating was available and didn’t seem terribly crowded but we chose to eat inside. Waitress came and asked for our drink order. Coke and water. Meanwhile a family of maybe 8 sat close to us. They were having a birthday dinner/party for a toddler and brought in gifts and a cake. They asked for a booster seat. Said they didn’t have one. Our waitress brought our drinks and kinda slammed them down on the table and walked away. My husband had to go to the bar and ask for menus. Same waitress told the family that they would be charged $2.00 a person if they were going to cut the cake…I think that is horrible. We got up and left. Absolutely ridiculous.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Mason City. My go to is the gyro. Trashcan nachos are a must try! My boyfriend and I will go there sometimes just to get a couple of beers and split an order of trashcan nachos. Makes for a great day date! Super cozy atmosphere and great staff!

Such a gem! We visit a couple times a year (live in ID) when visiting family. Tonights server, Rylee, was so efficient, personable and knowledgeable.....she made our evening enjoyable. Must haves: hot honey salmon bowl, lemon caper spaghetti, walleye sandwich and the Cuban sandwich. I wish we had room for dessert!!!!
