Vulcan Hawaiian Barbecue

Love the Vulcan!! The dumplings are sooooo goood - the tempura shrimp is delicious. The coconut shrimp is one of my favorite meals. I haven’t had a bad thing to eat here and the sauces they make are delicious!

Good food, fast. Poke bowls and dumplings, chicken katsu, and shrimp tempura. Even a sushi style roll with Spam and rice. Good prices.

Very interesting menu. Everything was great. The Spam Musubi was very good. The ribs were delicious. Definitely worth a try.

I had garlic shrimp which came on a bed of cabbage in a flavorful oil. I also had a little side salad which came with a delicious creamy dressing. The shrimp was good. We got takeout & my husband picked it up so not sure about the atmosphere but I liked the food!

Food is great. Lots of food for the price. For 17 bucks it's worth it. However they do tend to give you too much so if your looking for something light it might not be the best choice.

The service is good and it's just one dude back there the whole time. He hasn't messed up an order yet even with a party of 6 and all different menu items.

The restaurant looks like a war bunker, but honestly if your restaurant doesn't look like the meeting place terroristic operations, what are you doing?

Overall it's worth it. The Poke Bowls are really tasty.

The place is super smoky to the point that our eyes were burning and our whole bodies were stinky after being there around 30 minutes.
The pictures & the reviews gave us high hope but we were super disappointed after eating the first bite. The rice wasn’t cooked well and the meats didn’t taste good at all.
The customer service was good tho.

Finally tried this place and couldn't call to place an order for pick-up. (Some phone issue) Their message on Google said to order online. For the pick-up (tip) click where it says "taste", found that out when I gave up and drove there. Here's what I'll say... the food FANTASTIC!, I mean really, really good. Service , great, kinda. Floor was really sticky and annoyed me but I'm a complainer. So, when you get a chance. Absolutely try it. We had Chicken Katsu with sauce on side and a Chicken trio, both with the macaroni salad and rice. So good. The Katsu chicken...I'm obsessed now. Can't wait to try the combo garlic & coconut shrimp that'll be next with an order of katsu w/ terriyaki on the side. YUMMMM!!

Friendly owners and delicious food with a great variety that Mason City has not had before this. I got the shrimp combo and it was delicious. The beef bulgogi looks great and so do all the appetizers .

Ordered delivery from here and I have a severe tomato allergy, and they dealt with it well. I don't know what I was expecting but we ended up getting so much food! They have an option where for about 50$ you can get three different entrees as well as the Spam Musubi and everything was really good. We ordered the Chicken Katsu, Kalbi Short Ribs, and Garlic Shrimp and everything was fantastic. I recommend, I'll actually have to go in there sometime!

As someone who grew up in Minneapolis and now lives in the area, I’ve been missing the food options the most. This place is hit that spot for me. Prices are appropriate for the quality of the food you get and it’s simply delicious. 10/10 would recommend
