This is a restaurant, not a hotel, so not sure why this asks about rooms. It is in a old western town looking building and decorated the same. They offer a small buffet, as well as a good salad bar. We tried two different sandwiches , brisket Philly and a bar b q bacon sandwich and split them. Both were very good. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive.

This is our third time staying here, the first time was excellent. The second time in 2021 you tell the rooms not so clean, below average. This pasted weekend not good. Wet hand towel, no coffee, refrigerator was dirty, very dirty floors. The room could use a chair or two. Questioning if we will return. I am so disappointed.Safety: QuiteFood & drinks: Everything in the bar and grill was excellent.

The people are nice and accommodating. The room could have been in better shape. The heater smelled and was extremely loud. The TV was very small for the room size. The coffee pot was in bad shape, with only sugar and stir sticks available, no coffee or tea. The bed was extremely hard, very uncomfortable. There was no chair in the room. It would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather, no chair was on the porch. I left my visit early since I felt very uncomfortable.Nearby activities: Nicely located to visit the stores in McGregor .

Had the brisket, it was dry, tough and could taste the liquid smoke. Great friendly staff.

This place was amazing to stop and check out. The staff were super nice and informative about the place. Built in 1857 and confirmed by staff it is haunted.

1st time visit here. We tried Lunch and dinner. Brisket sandwich, burger, nacho plater, all very good for lunch!!!! Fries and ketchup could be much better. Server was awesome. Dinner we had boasted chicken and fried shrimp. Once again all very good except for the sides. Fries still could be better, slaw ok, no baked potato or side salads. Overall a very good and cool place! Server makes the best bloody mary and pickles I've ever had!

We have been in MacGregor 3 times and just now tried this place! Good enough we ate lunch and dinner there on the same day. Brisket and nachos were wonderful. For dinner was broasted chicken and breaded shrimp which were equally fantastic. I have to say my favorite part was the Bloody Mary which was the best we have ever had (we have tried many) which also led us to some ridiculously good pickles which we discovered were homemade! You simply have to make those pickles and sell them online so we can have a constant supply! They obviously take making great food seriously! Thanks for the experience?

This place is really unique, stained glass lamps and clawfoot tubs and all - felt like going back in time! Will definitely stay again.
