We stopped here for lunch based on the reviews and we are so glad we did! This is NOT one of those places that serves heated up canned or frozen food. You can see the kitchen from the dining area. It's all freshly made. The history of the place is interesting, so read the menu. LOL We would definitely come back when in the area again.
Spent the weekend in McGregor and surrounding area searching for a decent diner for breakfast and on our way out of town, we found it. Pancake tasted wonderful and eggs were perfect. Bacon was also cooked perfect. If you're searching for a legit diner with good coffee and breakfast, look no further.
My wife and I have done a fall leaf drive every year since 1973. We've noticed this diner on the roadside for many years but it has always been closed when we went by. This year our timing was great and they were open! We stopped and are so glad we did. Diners are a dying breed, just like supper clubs.
