Not a bad little restaurant. The food seems to be priced pretty high for what you get. A burger is 5 bucks, but that is all you get, no sides at all.

We had called ahead to give them a heads up there were 8 adults coming in for breakfast.We arrived 15 minutes later at 10am. We were asked what we would like to drink at 10:30. Ordered food at 10:45. Had to ask for refills on every beverage. Food was served at 11:40. Food was okay although next time we'll keep driving2 hours for coffee bacon & eggs is simply unexceptable

We recently had a wonderful lunch at the Riverside . We all (4 of us) ordered the fried cod and thought it was delicious - the best we ever had. We liked the option to have a thick or thin batter (we all chose thin). The cottage fries and french fries were good too and they had some tasty beer on tap. Our table was by a window with a view of the Mississippi River. We plan to return for again this summer. We ate there last summer and it was good then too.

Great place, friendly down home place. Honestly if you're looking for food network stuff, don't go. If you want good down home cooking (made to order), friendly family type atmosphere then this is your place. Had breakfast there twice. Locals go there and are friendly and conversant! You will get some great local info and good eats.

I have been coming here for the past 30 yrs, now an essential drive to McGregor Riverview from east central S.D. to enjoy the best world famous Bloody Mary medicine ever there. The awesome food is homemade fresh and ample portions for the price. Also enjoy chatting with Brenda , Rick and crew and enjoy admiring Brenda's record length braided hair and Rick's wild looking hair. Indoor and outdoor scenery can't be surpassed from the location bank of the Great Mississippi River!????

Whoa boy! I got so full, portions were big and delicious! I had breakfast pancakes eggs and sausage.
