Delicious ice cream and super friendly owner! if you don’t want just a regular cone, they have other fun options like waffle cone nachos, affogato, cookie ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes, etc. Lots of tables to sit down as well.
Nestled in a nice little nostalgic town with an good old fashion candy store vibe. Very good ice cream cones on a hot day I would suggest waffle cone with the lemon cheesecake flavor. By the way there is a little bed and breakfast cabin that the proprietor owns next to the candy shop.
If it were not for this shop, the ISU Cyclones would not have won against the Hawkeyes. The candy and ice cream are absolutely amazing – I can't stress that enough. You've got to try the Michigan ice cream; it's a flavor paradise that keeps changing. We're definitely making the trip from Minnesota again because we loved it so much. Exploring the other shops in town and visiting Effigy Mounds was also a blast!
