Went there with my dad around 11:30 a.m. on a Tuesday. We were welcomed right away by a very nice lady with a beautiful smile. The daily special was chipped beef gravy over biscuits, with peas, and pie for $8 (or a 1/2 order for $6.75). We decided to order sandwich platters off the menu. We didn't have to wait very long for our food, but the time went by even faster as we chuckled over the funny wall plaques and cute decor. My breaded tenderloin was delicious and could have easily filled two of their homemade sandwich buns! My dad was equally pleased with his BBQ beef sandwich. I did not care much for the coleslaw, but that's on me. Their recipe uses celery seed and is a little on the sweet side. That's okay, next time I'll get extra fries instead. They were crispy and perfectly seasoned! My dad snagged their last slice of cherry pie, which, according to him, was the best he's ever had. (I was too full for any dessert.)The coffee was good, but as silly as it seems, I LOVE the coffee cups there. They are big!Our total for two sandwich platters, two bottomless coffees, and a slice of pie came to a little under $29.00.

The food is great, the service is great! Very cute cafe decorated with aprons, of course! The Western Omelet was stuffed full of goodness. We had to wait a couple of minutes for the biscuits to come out of the oven but definitely worth the wait! A great place where all the locals hang out but be prepared, it's a cash only business.

Loved going here for lunch in high school, grabbed a burger to go. Was still hot and delicious when I arrived to pick it up.
The staff are super friendly, and the food is as great as the staff. They offer American comfort food, most of which is made in house. The prices are reasonable, with big portions.

Best buns and food around, without question. Such a friendly and helpful staff as well. It's a staple in Mepo and for good reason
