“Oh my! The sandwiches are my favorite! Each time i try a different kind I think now this is my favorite! Until the next time that I try a different one! Lol you really cant go wrong and the ice cream! So many combinations that you will get your sweet tooth hankers satisfied! My favorite hard ice cream there is hands down the lemon bar! “We had amazing pizza’s from Cayanne’s tonight! Cheese, pepperoni and sausage. The only thing we would change is the sausage. It’s more like breakfast sausage. Put some Graziano’s sausage on it and it would be amazing!!! 😊”

“This historic hotel and cafe/restaurant is a gem. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We love the historic feel of the place without the mustiness. This place is well kept and clean and gives you a nostalgic feeling. Loved the paintings through the restaurant.”

“Where do I start... we were looking for a locally owned restaurant and landed on trying out Five Points in Dallas Center. Short drive from Grimes and located this gem in the heart of the town. We were warmly welcomed and quite at home. TJ assisted us and we could not.of been better taken care of. I had the Frankenstein dip which had smoked pork and yes, smoked cream cheese on what had to be a locally sourced bun. it was so amazing. Full of flavor. my husband had the rueben and he said it was one of the best he has ever had. We tried the Mac and cheese and the onion rings as our sides... both amazing. I failed to mention our hand shaken drinks... I had a mojito (they picked the mint from their plant right in front of us) and a lovely margarita. Take the short drive and visit them soon. We will be back!”

“This place is very authetic. The food is very delicious and fresh. It doesn't make you bloat afterwards. It is a plus that you know speak Spanish when you order because the girl who took our order only spoke Spanish. We knew a little, but due to our lack of Spanish we ended up ordering more food that we wanted. The place was clean and they have a restroom.”

Getting a headcount for this event wasn’t really possible and it turned out to be HUGE. Debbie and Stacey were wonderful at keeping up with all the food and drink orders and even though it was a lot larger than anticipated we were so happy for the amazing turnout and service!”
