First time this year I was ablento ride the Wabash and stop in at Tobey Jack's. Always a good time and great food. I had a buffalo crispy chicken wrap and fries.

Stopped in Sunday evening after a long weekend of work. 3 piece fried chicken was the Special. All 3 of us ordered it. Came out quick and was steaming hot with mashed potatoes and green beans plus a dinner salad to start with. We ate every bit of it. Very good fried chicken. Thanks for the food.
Some of the worst tacos ever. But fun atmosphere
Although I suspect our server was new & learning, I'm not downgrading the stars for that. The food was really good & the staff was very friendly.
We got off the highway today, out of Omaha in search of a steakhouse. We happened to find Tobey Jacks in Mineola, IA. It was delicious and big servings. We got the nachos as an appetizer. They were great. We ordered ribeyes for dinner. They were delicious. We want to to go back now for the handbreaded tenderloins. The server was very nice!
It was a quiet relaxing evening with wonderful food. Great waitress and fun folks we sat by. 😊
I ordered the ribeye it was done perfectly. Was not over trimmed and a ton of flavor. As somebody who is usually not a fan of cornbread, I ate all of it and was disappointed when it was done. From the small town in Northeast South Dakota so it was nice to pop into a small town establishment better food than I could anywhere in my area.
Their Taco Ride is the best! Great staff and owners.....can't wait to come back!

Neat place off the path, but worth a drive. Car clubs, motorcycle groups, etc., this is the place for you. Nice drive with some curves and beautiful scenery. Burgers and Bloody Mary were delicious. Large outdoor patio space with umbrellas. Looks like they have an option for an outdoor bar, but it wasn't open when we were there. Not enough business on a Sunday afternoon.

It's been a long time since we've been here. We knew the original owners. But now. I see why it's always up for sale. Food was fair. The place was great but over time it just fades into the background. It has been years since we were there last and after this recent trip, probably wait a few more years.
