“I've been going on the Thursday "taco ride" to Tobey Jack's Mineola Steak House for tacos and margaritas regularly for about 10 years. We also always stop in while on multi-day bikepacking trips and other group rides on the trail. I really enjoy the overall atmosphere and especially love it when they have live music outside on the patio. If they could up their bean taco game, I would visit even more! Thanks for being such a staple of southwest Iowa for so long and giving riders a great destination on the Wabash Trace Nature Trail every day. Here's to many more years of taco rides!”

“Seven One Two . We can't rate them high enough. Food, service and overall quality are excellent. Details below. To start off, I'm in a wheelchair. Most places that are accessible will watch my wife struggle to get through the door or a customer will help. Not the case here. My wife was about to grab for the door and one of the staff was right there, with a smile. We were seated immediately, out of the way, but not hidden in the corner. Our server, Sheree, was awesome. She answered our questions and explained the specials. She returned appropriately fast to take our order. Being about 2/3 full, I was expecting a bit of a wait, but our drinks were brought out quickly. The food is excellent. Expect it to be what the menu says it will be, not what you want or think it might be. We had the crab cakes for our appetizer. It had a good amount of crab and not all bread crumbs. My wife had the peach flatbread. Exactly what the menu said it would be and delicious. I had the beef stroganoff. After a little hiccup, it was as ordered and very yummy. We were disappointed that we didn't have room for a dessert, but we will make sure to leave room in the future. When we were leaving, 2 staff members were headed to open the door for us. Checking out their Facebook page, we will be back for the wine and flatbread special soon.”

“Didn't I already post about this branch of Sugar Makery? Anyways, I was visiting here both because I was early for a haircut and needed a bathroom beforehand. This was weeks before the one in Shenandoah, Iowa would open and needed a reminder of the whimsy and selection of this franchise. Until that day, I had never heard of Tiger Butter Fudge (peanut butter+chocolate+vanilla). The store was amazing as always.”

“Stepping into the Classic is kind of like stepping back home after being away for a while. The ambiance, the service, the people - all make one feel comfortable. The food is top-notch, and it's not unusual to see people who have made a long road trip just to enjoy a meal at the Classic. Come on in once. “We went during our ghost adventure stay in Malvern, and the minute you see the cafe you feel warm and welcome. The atmosphere is so cozy, and feels like you’re at your grandparents house for a loving home cooked meal. The food was homemade and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! The host, cooks, and waitresses makes you feel like you are part of their family, and want to get to know you. I would 100% recommend and plan on making the 6 hour trip back again!”

“A MUST GO PLACE!! This place is always filled with fun people having a good time. There isn't any rowdy behavior and the bartenders and managers are literally the coolest people you will ever meet. Ask for the skittles, you won't be disappointed. Karaoke is always on point and it isn't like hearing cats cry... it's a good time and a frequent visit for myself and my sister. ALSO... COME TRY THE REUBEN PIZZA!!!”

“Wow! Excellent food AND service! I'm pretty positive the manager was walking around topping off drinks tonight. And that's wonderful to see management helping out their staff! We were asked how the food was multiple times by multiple people. I have never been to an Olive Garden where the bread sticks were so hot and fresh. The food was hot, fresh, and service was fast! I am visiting the area this week and wouldn't normally go out of my way to leave a review. But my meal was wonderful and I had to give credit where credit is due!”

“Alright, this is about as chill an atmosphere as you can get. Inside, it is similar to a cracker barrel but way toned down. Kinda like if your grandma n grandpa had a barn they built a kitchen and bar in. The drinking situation is pretty slim because they are limited to a couple little vertical coolers. So you usual items you would find in can form. The food is pretty dang good. Big ole pork tenderloin, fries were great. Lots of condiments to dress up your meal the way you want. The staff is pretty much the owners and they are very genuine and nice people. This reminds me of finding a lil bar out in the middle of nowhere and just being able to sit back, relax, and have some good food. Also, they have books for kids and outdoor area to sit or play, heck even an atari on a TV in the corner for fun.”

“This is our "Cheers"-- they know our drinks and always have good advice If you want to try something new! This last visit they had a slushie machine with Peach Crown and Monster, which was awesome. There are many TVs with anything you might wanna see, games to play (bartender Kyle hits a bullseye every throw I think). Food is tasty too if you need some pizza or sides to go with your drink.
