I was in there Thursday night and I don't know if they were short staffed or what was going on but our waiter was just not with it he didn't come back to our table very often and our food was good and it took quite a while to even get somebody to take our order when we got there otherwise usually when we come the service is really good the food is really good there's no complaints

Being from Colorado where authentic Mexican restaurants abound, this is the first place I've been to since moving to Iowa in 2020 that reminds me of my home state. Food is amazing.
Decent food and somewhat off the beaten path. My mom and I have been twice now for lunch. Cheese dip and guacamole are good. The dips can be ordered in small or large sizes which I thought was especially nice for trying different things, while also being more affordable. On my first visit, I went with Fajita Hawaiian because it sounded interesting and not something you see often. The fajitas were good, but very greasy from the chorizo. I wished the pineapple was grilled/charred because it just seemed like canned pineapple. My mom had the #4 combo plate which came with two tacos, rice and beans. She also got a tamale on the side. The tamale stole the show. It was served bubbling hot, drenched in sauce and cheese. It was one of her favorite tamales ever! The tacos are ok. On both visits they were too soggy and fell apart. The chimichanga is good. The margaritas were strong, but there was a little too much sweet and sour flavor in my opinion, but they are $3 on Thursday and that's a good deal! All in all, I'm glad we made the drive to try something new. The food is good and prices reasonable.

3 large orders of queso and only brought one basket of chips. He later brought our food and said he would bring more chips which we never received. Had to ask for more drinks instead of being checked on. Food was pretty decent.

Went to Campo Azul last night for the first time and I was really impressed! Some of the best food is often located in smaller towns, and they're the perfect example of this! The food was super good and not expensive at all, especially for someone like me who eats in moderation. I got the Steak Fajita Quesadilla. Definitely worth it!
