Favorite Hangout... back in the 70's! Went to HS in Missouri Valley and had a horribly made fake ID, which was used regularly at Papa Joes. The owner, Dean Dewaele, founded it in the early 70's? Just looked him up and unfortunately he passed away in 2012. Back then, Papa Joe's had live bands when Led Zeppelin, The Who, BTO, Black Sabbath, Chicago, Yes, and many more ruled. Smoke filled stage, lots of long hair, and Levis jean jackets. It was quite the happening place 50 years ago, and I'm happy it's still going strong today.

I took my pilot friend Jon there. After dropping off plants in mulch at my property up there.After we, after we dropped off some plants and mulch. I bet my property.. We sat outside to smoke and watched the train. Sit there and the cars get frustrated and leave. LO l, it's a great place for everyone to take that Sunday. Drive on the bike or in cars to go up to from council. Bluffs or omaha3 models 3 Titus w monster #16???☺️ Friend jon, was amazed Because we paid that much for one drink in Omaha.

Bartender is the sweetest! She's so nice and friendly, and clearly loves what she does and the people who come to Papa Joe's. She makes food at home to bring in so bikers don't have to go hungry, since the bar doesn't have a kitchen. Her ham and corn chowder is ?! Cold beers and a cool atmosphere. Would definitely recommend, and we'll be back.

It was a slow night but still great company from the locals. Good food and plenty stocked on drinks. Bartender is knowledgeable on mix drinks as well

Met up with some friends last Saturday night for my birthday and it was awesome, drinks are affordable and is friendly and everyone is nice.. I feel and felt very comfortable. Bar tenders are awesome and friendly and servers are always coming back to our table and cleaning up and asking if we needed anything.

Everybody thinks because this is technically a biker bar that it wouldn't be nice that's far from the truth staff that works there are very friendly bikers that come in also very kind and friendly
