Perfect service. Owner was friendly and hell of a good cook. My pork loin freshly cooked and fried excellent not greasy and had the crunch. And the gravy soooo good. My husband's eggs and chicken fried steak were perfectly done as well. Eggs perfectly runny to soak the steak in for the perfect bite. If we lived there would definitely be a weekly spot for us.
I'd left Sioux Falls heading for St. Louis with the express mission of finding a rural diner en route, I'd spent an ungodly amount on a steak dinner the night before. The goal on the entire trip was only to support local businesses & this spot delivered on every front, even if it is a tad disconcerting from the outside. Son and I went there today and it was fantastic, food was amazing, service great, prices incredibly reasonable. And we had a great conversation with the owner and his son. This is a must stop there location !
