There were a few things that I didn't like as well, but not to say someone else won't like it. Chips are pretty crunchy but loved to queso dip. Taco salad was very good. Not too spicy. Shared a small pitcher or Margheritas...maybe a little more than needed, lol.
My favorite place to eat in Monticello because the food is good, the service is quick, and the staff are kind. This is a real Mexican place with real Mexican food - not "inspired".
Vegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian options, but none are vegan or high in protein, so if you're a vegan, Hacienda is tough to recommend.

Food is great and definitely worth the price.Waiter forgot my wife's drink, delivered food to the wrong table at first and took a long time to check on us.I would return and let them try again though. The staff was very polite and kind despite the mistakes.
