What a wonderful experience this was, from the moment we walked in the door to the time we walked out. We interacted briefly with 4 of the staff, and they were all helpful. Carter, our server, was spectacular! Friendly, helpful with the menu (our first visit), and overall a great server. My wife had the pecan pulled pork with a side of cole slaw (which of course she put on her sandwich), and I had the pulled pork grilled cheese with a side of house chips. The house chips were great, not greasy, and the horseradish dipping sauce was made from freshly ground horseradish! It's nice when a place meets (or exceeds) its reputation. This place has a place now in our rotation of local restaurants!
Great service and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was really good except for the house made chips.
Traveling through Monticello and looking for a place to eat, the name attracted us. While the name might give you the impression it’s a BBQ establishment, it is not. They do have some BBQ sandwiches and a few dishes, but only a few more than a bar and grill. The food was good, but the low rating is due to service. Groups of 5 or more may want to look for another place. There was only one booth that would accommodate 5 guests. If it’s taken, you’ll be waiting until they are done. Our waitress wasn’t pleasant and messed up dealing with the bills at the end of our meal. Granted, we were a group of 5 guys all wanting separate bills, but that hasn’t been a problem other places. Being pleasant and attentive will go far when the customer determines the tip.
was at the Blind Pig this afternoon and had delicious Burger and sweet potato fries!! Our server ,Alyssa, was amazing!! she was over the top nice, polite, courteous and bubbly!! she even let me take a selfie with her😊 I highly recommend this place!! Ask for Alyssa when you go and tell her she is the bomb!!

Nice li'l spot
Everyone was super friendly! Great decor and atmosphere. Food was phenomenal. We will definitely be back. Eddie was fun and knowledgeable.
Stopped into the Blind Pig in Monticello Thursday afternoon for lunch. We were greeted timely and seated immediately. Before I go on and on about the food, Emily was very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and so attentive during the entire time we were present. It was after lunch time so I’m sure they weren’t at full staff, but you would have never known it. Breaded pork tenderloin (large) sandwich and fries was my feast and was certainly very well prepared, tasty, and moist with a nice crunch outside! My dear had a cheeseburger(burger girl) she raved also about her fresh burger. Even the french fries were hot and perfectly done. Our compliments to the chef. We must admit Monticello has a real gem in the Blind Pig! Thank you again for the impeccable experience!

We were there for the pre party for my daughter's wedding. I had the Philly cheese steak and my mother had the ruben. They were both good sandwiches and the price was ok. You can't expect not to spend money in this economy.
