“We're from the southwest and this is probably the best Mexican food I have ever had... in SE Iowa. Who would have thought? I had the Pollo Fundido and Michelle had the combo bowl molcadete with cactus (tastes like green bell peppers) and we both enjoyed the service, atmosphere, and food. They're right on the town square... very highly recommend.”

“We had a great experience there. Cheap drinks and played pool with the locals. Very nice people that make you feel welcomed and good atmosphere if you want to get out for a drink and have a good time socializing. The locals also bought us many drinks and called us family.”

“I had my first experience of Sanity Coffee House on my way out of town. I decided to grab a hot chocolate. The workers were very kind and the atmosphere would be one I would come back to to chat with a friend or get some work done.
I was not impressed with my drink. Upon ordering, I heard the worker shout back for someone to prepare milk for hot chocolate. My drink came in a timely manor and then I was off to my travels. Once on the road, I decided to take a drink and was not impressed at all. My drink was warmish and not hot. It also did not taste like chocolate. It tasted like caramel flavored milk and was way too sweet. It did not satisfy my chocolate craving.
I’d like to believe that if I was dining in and brought my drink back to them, they would happily replace it.”

“Met a friend here for lunch. It was the first time I had been here. I had the turkey with gouda sandwich with cranberry cream cheese which was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the berry-flavored lemonade. The place was quiet and relaxing which made it a great place to visit with my friend.”

“The young lady working this morning ,12/5 at around 8:00 am (I am so sorry I didn’t get her name) was doing a fantastic job. She got drinks out quickly and kept the line moving. When I couldn’t taste the flavoring in my iced coffee she explained to me that the pumps are small. (I only ordered it with 2 pumps, thinking the pumps were bigger) She put more flavoring in and it was perfect. Thank you for being patient with me and so kind!”

“My husband and I with our four kids ate there tonight. It was very good. They kept a good eye on when food needed refilled. The cowboy walking around giving stickers to my kids was a nice touch. They loved it. The thing that really impressed me the most was the general manager, Jeff. When I asked if there was butter on the noodles he informed me there was butter but then offered to make my son( who is allergic to cows milk) some fresh noodles with no butter. He also brought out the allergen book to look and make sure their Mariana sauce didn’t have cheese in it. The restaurant was clean, very busy, and we didn’t have a problem with people coming to collect our dirty plates. We will be back to eat there again.”

“You will be greeted by a smiling young Thai woman who will get your order out in a flash. I like it hot so I get #5 spicy. Not hot enough? order Thai spicy. guaranteed to make your mouth and eyes water. I usually get Pad Phet. Highly recommend. These prices are normal anywhere you order by the dish. Not a buffet.”

“Prices keep climbing. $13 for one sandwich and 2 cookies. The people were super friendly this time though. We stopped going for a while because they were a bit rude.”
