“Finding good Chinese food at times, especially in a small town, is sometimes a daunting experience. Mei's did not disappoint. As you walk in the restaurant, it has a calming atmosphere with a couple of aquariums that literally had many large orange fish STARING at you (It was erie but quite cool), comfy booths and soothing music. Our server was super sweet and efficient, the food came out super fast, and the teapot was the largest I have ever seen at a Chinese restaurant 😀. Their lunch special consists of an entree, fried or white rice, and a crab rangoon or an egg roll. Most all priced around $10.95! All dishes were tasty (we ordered the triple delight) The chicken and beef were very tender, and the shrimp was good, but only a few were found, and the sauce was tasty. If you are ever in Mt. Pleasant Iowa, and have a hankering for good Chinese food, don't hesitate to try this great little place out. Don't forget to say "Hi" to the funny fish!“
