Since I know the owners, Muscatine Family Restaurant has been a great staple for my enjoyment. They didn't hire people just for their money to work here, they hired caring efficient people. I like the food. No matter if it's a buffet to single serve plates, the cooks really know how to make nice home felt foods. I'm moving to Mt Pleasant soon but rest assured I will be back for more. Hopefully others will try this restaurant.
Overall great staff and food was well portioned and delicious. Arrived at the restaurant about an hour before close so the buffet was no longer available, this was not a big deal. I ordered the ribeye with soup and it was very delicious. I was very pleased with the service and even chatted it up with the owner who was a really nice guy. Would recommend and will be returning to try other menu items!!
