We visited Muscatine for the day and popped in to Pete’s for lunch. The service and atmosphere was amazing! The regulars as well as the staff were welcoming and friendly. We recommend the wings and their Bloody Mary.
The food was good. The only thing that bothered me was that you just got the sandwich without a side, like fries. Especially for the price. Unless we missed the memo. The breaded tenderloin was really good. Got fried mushrooms for an appetizer and they were meh.
No prices on the menu which I have never seen before. Some items were reasonable, and some were more than expected. They were out of tea, new cook had some issues. Food was okay bar food. Nothing extraordinary. Server was nice and gave us a discount on our bill due to the inconveniences.
