I just had Da Flava Unit for the first time this week and it exploded my expectations & my taste buds were content to die in the blast. It was stupid good.We had the BEST tacos and the BEST service. I can't wait until I can get back and try the hibachi fried rice. It's supposed to even outrank their taco game! They locally source everything and they help support the community and public schools and aren't afraid of spice and have veg options and and and -- I think I'm in love!If you haven't yet, you gotta go.

“Everyone deserves food like this in their life.” -my husband when he tried the hibachi riceThe owners of Da Flava Unit are so nice and the food is top notch! In addition to the hibachi rice, we also got the jerk chicken, which was smoky with just the right amount of spice. The portion sizes were very generous, but that didn’t stop us from inhaling it all. 10/10

I took my family here to celebrate my birthday, and it was the best time! The Browns made us feel welcome with warm hospitality and conversation along with delicious tacos and sides. My spice loving half of the family relished the heat from the house and locally made sauces and seasonings, and for the others, there were milder options available as well. Basically, there was something for everyone, including plant-based options for myself: soy tacos, potato salad, rice and beans. I very much recommend Da Flava Unit Xpress for its food, service, and atmosphere!

First time trying here and the customer service is really good ? the lady is really nice and helped me with some other things because I’m new to the area. The food was good I ordered the jerk chicken, rice, and plantains. Only thing I would say is the rice was a little too smoky and dry for me but other than that the food was good ?
